Well he's bound to come watch the match anyway. Who knows I just don't think the manga will have any room for the match between ryoma and his oyaji.

11 chapters are hardly enough to cover Ryoma and Yukimura match; Ryoma's match against Atobe filled up 2 books xD

The manga is ending abruptly. I think I'd get my indonesian friend who excels in japanese to translate a letter from us to Konomi asking him to lengthen his manga and send it over to Japan.

whoa.. interesting suggestions kyuuki. yes i agree the manga is a bit rushed...however i dont think konomi can do any about it, he most likely already completed the series.

um, whaddya mean? you mean the manga ending abruptly? -well yeah it only applies for the manga, the anime is not gonna end until the last chapter of the manga is made into anime.
with the current chapter out, does that mean there's only 10 chapters left?

I can't picture what will happen at the end of PoT. By the way, why do whisper or some other people don't like Echizen Ryoma? Although he's arrogant or something. He's not that bad.

Actually, I reread through book 38 yesterday (In other words chapters 330++ to 340+), and I found a couple of loopholes.
Basically, Konomi was holding this Valentine's chocolates thing, and it said: The distribution of chocolates for the 2007 Valentine's Day is as above. Although it looked as though Atobe had a hands-down victory, but in actual fact, one of the readers gave Atobe 586 chocolates by him/herself! Now you look at it, the was a fight for the first and second place. WHAT WOULD IT BE NEXT YEAR? Thank you to all the people who had sent chocolates!
Okay, I can't translate, but this is from chinese, and I'm bored =.=
So what exactly did Konomi mean by next year? Is the whole thing extending until NEXT YEAR? Would there be a sequel? Why are people saying there is only 11 chapters left? Or is Konomi just egoistic and wants chocolates for Valentine's even after completing the series?
Or is it just recently had Konomi decided to end the series in 11 chapters?
Also, I figured that it was the NATIONALS. Okay, that was slow. Anyway, Seigaku celebrated with the others after winning Shitenhouji didn't they? It was only the semi-s and they already celebrated so much. I'm actually thinking they will just end this Nationals however and have a big celebration party.

Hey guys, don't forget that it isn't Konomi who wants the series to end this fast, it's the deadline that Shonen Jump has given him... So either way, Konomi will have to squeeze in the whole nationals (and make it good) before the deadline.

Yeah! Die Echizen DIE!!!!
I hope there's a sequel to PoT, or at least an epilogue where the'll show what the characters in each school are doing afterwards, like the third years in high school.

The dream would be that Echizen lost, and that all of his fans realised that he was just an ordinary mortal player. Not that Immortal brat he is painted out to be at the moment..

Yeah, then he dies!!!!!
For the last chapter, wouldn't it be great if they (meaning Hyotei who has the money and the narcissistic captain) could throw a big party and invite every major school in the series?

hmm nope none of that is going to happen probably. It'll just finish rather abruptly and I guess they'll have snippets of the graduating thing. But I really doubt if konomi will make a sequel he's already exhausted all the tennis applications he could find. There is no leeway for another sequel which means that the date to end the manga was impetuous (the work of shonen jump). Well I just hope he does a good job on the chapters ahead especially the yukimura match.

hmm according to the new chapter it seems like momo is gonna reteach echizen...
Well we'll have to see how that works out, though I think I want to see the whole doubles match instead of clips switching between the scenes.

How many chapters are there left for Konomi to squeeze in the reawakening, the match and the celebration? Now my guess is Ryoma remembers, and it ends with Ryoma going "Lets kick ass, Momo-chan-senpai,". This would serve as an adequate ending for the limited amount of chapters, even if it doesn't fufill much of the average fangirl's needs, it is certainly better than having the match ended in two pages. Plus, the cocky attitude can be inserted in the last sentence, making it obvious that the old Ryoma is back and the actual ending would be made known even without more chapters. It would also save dear o' Konomi time and brain cells by having no need to come up with extraordinary moves for Yukimura (And the names; Hoshi Hanabi makes it evident that Konomi is running out of ideas). This speculation would not appeal to many people, but I'd be rather pleased if it turns out like this.

would that mean that there are only 6 chapters left if D1=3 and S1=3
that would be a real rush to put kikumaru-eiji's D1 for 3 chapters same goes for S1.
If that would be the case then it wouldn't be that great of an ending. *sigh*

Hasn't 12 weeks gone past already? I guess the rumors weren't true after all. But hey, if Konomi does have unlimited time on PoT, then why is he rushing the finals for? (Yes, I am complaining about the shortage of Marui's D1 match again).
