well i dont think renji and inui will underestimate each other- in terms of data they're on par with each other.

I refuse to believe that. I like Inui, but Renji>>Inui. Renji will think of something, but given Kaidoh's invincibility like I've already stated, this match is over.
With only 11 chapters left, MOVE ON TO SINGLES 2!

yeah hopefully they do, any predictions of who will play singles 2?

As long as it's not Momo. I'm all good on whoever's playing Singles 2. Maybe... it could be OISHI!... but then Oishi just doesn't seem like a singles player at ALL. He seems pretty much useless at singles. Logically you could say it's Fuji but it's always Fuji. Make it... Taka-san is too messed up for it...
As long as it's not Momo.

why not? personally i feel that he's quite a good player. well for all we know echizen may end up playing singles 2.
ahh and "Renji>>Inui"--- what makes you think that?

Maybe Inui did not manage to predict that Renji would move away?

Fshhhhhhhhh.... (as long as it's not momo)
Also, Renji >> Inui is just plain ol' fact. Do I really need to make a claim here Geni-san, are you picking someone from Seigaku or a Rikkai-an?? Renji is one of the three demon kings that led Rikkai to a national championship ever since he was a freshman. Says enough for me, where in contrast Inui couldn't even compare to Fuji or Tezuka until he finally started working out.

eh okay but i thought something like they're as good as each other was mentioned.
i know the match is gonna end soon but i feel inui hasnt shown us enough yet

Its because there is a Ryoma that is why Inui never made to top three in Seigaku.
And he got dropped out, which is just plain crap.
If I'd rank Seigaku: Tezuka - Ryoma - Fuji - Kaidoh - Oishi - Eiji - Momo - Taka.
Something like that. Oishi and Eiji were hard to place.

eh shouldnt eiji be stronger than oishi? he handled that higa guy pretty well -------------back to topic--------------------- read my previous post

Yeah, Eiji trumps Oishi....
*reads previous post*
I want both Inui and Renji to show us something. But given the chapters left... I just feel there isn't enough left to show anything.
By the way, I really missed something. I remember just going through the forum reading that you guys said there was only a limited amount of chapters left. Where'd you guys get this info from? o.O

|
Post by genichirou on Sept 15, 2007 20:11:38 GMT 7
well if it's 12 weeks left and 1 chapter per week, there will only be 12 chapters left. and thats info from last last week so there's only 11 chapters left, after tomorrow's chapter, there'll be 10. sad, isnt it?

hey! what's with Kaidoh copying all Rikkai's specials? First the laser, then the demon (or devil or whatever)....
|
|
|
Post by whisper on Sept 19, 2007 6:28:10 GMT 7
Kaidoh's move was first copied by the Jackal and then Yagyuu(Both Rikkai Dai players)... besides, Yagyuu's the one that showed Kaidoh the lazer in the first place, his own fault, Kaidoh took it and made it even faster with his gyro-spin. Now the devil mode... after what Kirihara was doing to Inui, it was just supposed to happen I guess, don't tell me you wouldn't get pissed off or anything when your opponent starts playing dirty and messes up one of your best friends and someone that you admire as much. You can't just copy a state like that out of the blue, that's just stupid.

It isn't copying xD Its merely adapting the move and evolving it to your own playing style.
Inui, get a grip xD

10 chapters left, and they're still at doubles two. che, are they going to show us yukimura play or not?
okay as for the current chapter- is inui dead? kaidoh, teach that kirihara a lesson for attacking inui like that

Well.. i like persons like that..
OMG..BLOOD!!!

That's very morbid of you, eiji xD
How do you guys think the last few chapters would be like? I'm guessing Ryoma takes up three quarters of the last few chaps and the little bit left would be for Singles 2 :\

|
|
Post by whisper on Sept 20, 2007 18:38:42 GMT 7
They still have to bring Ryoma's memory back among all the other crap that's going on. I'm starting to think this limited amount of chapters left stuff is BS because I did some searching around, and I haven't seen anything else about Konomi finishing it up.

Actually, I'm thinking if we DO stage a revolt, Konomi might lengthen it.

Has anyone read chapter 359 and it seems that Fuji has evolved more since his last match with Shiraishi
|
|
|
Post by whisper on Sept 23, 2007 6:40:14 GMT 7
359 confused me. First they don't even show Kaidoh and Inui forfeiting, it just goes straight to Fuji being taken down by the "Meteo Drive". Now it looks like things are going to be rushed and that in the next chapter they're just going to have Fuji release his new final counter and win. Maybe Konomi is being rushed.
Why do I have the feeling the end of PoT won't be satisfying at all?
|
|
|
Post by kyuuki on Sept 23, 2007 8:24:16 GMT 7
A rushed ending is hardly satisfying.
Ohh. I loved Niou's new move ^^ Messing with Fuji's brains...He might have to be careful. And Inui looks like a mummy. It wasn't that bad, right?
And how can they just post Chapter 359 with a cliffhanger like that >_<

I just read the Prince of Tennis 359. It's wonderful. Fuji overwhelm Niou Masaharu. I want to see Fuji evolves in this match plus his final counter.

Niou so shouldn't lose, why is he playing singles anyway? and i thought the Meteo drive-thing was a dream....
