I think Shiraishi would win, but that's because I don't see Shiraishi ever letting the Zero-shiki hit the ground and Shiraishi would find some way to spin the ball that countered the Tezuka Zone.

So true I mean if Ryoma could counter the spin in tezuka zone so can Shiraishi. But then again Shiraishi almost lost to fuji. Bu then fuji surpassed shiraishi (which I really hated) and fuji surpassed tezuka. So let's see I guess it would be even sort of. I really thought shiraishi might have muga no kyochi or something secret up his sleeve.

I did too, because everyone in the show/manga had some special technique and Shiraishi was like the only one who played actual tennis. It almost didn't make sense.

Well I was expecting something more from the captain of one of the 4 major tennis schools. BTW was chitose the vice captain? Hmm that makes me want to see a match between shiraishi and chitose.

Perhaps someone has already mentioned this, but I would like to see a match between Tachibana Kippei and Atobe. Fudomine crushed Hyotei the only time they faced each other.
Would be interesting to see how Atobe would counter Tachibanas Wild Beast Aura.

Something tells me Atobe could counter it though. I mean Hyotei got crushed when they weren't using their regulars.

Mm, but Tachibana defeated Shishido with 6-0. Plus, he also defeated Fuji right before the Nationals.
But it would be a tight game. No doubt about it.

When Fuji attempted to bring back the ikd Tachibana. When he did, Tachibana defeated all of his Triple Counters. That probably also made Fuji realize that the Triple Counters weren't enough to win the Nationals.
It was only seen in the manga though.

They skipped that part in the anime. Honestly, they did a terrible job on Fudomine in the anime compared to the manga.
I would like to have seen that game between Kippei and Fuji.
Oh well..
