There was one I read a long time ago I don't know if I can find it... I think it might have been something called abstract gladiator or something like that. Basically it was a use of some very awesome abstract brushes with only black and white. Then he imports an image from planet render that has amazing color on it (I think it was red orangish sort of). Then he went to the filter panel and clicked blur. He used motion blur with a distance of 50 pixels. After that he clicked overlay and just duplicated that image 20 or so times. He then placed it wherever he wanted giving quite a good background. Then he imported the image again and just stuck it on there did some adjustments. And he had an amazing background that blended in nicely with his render. Let me see if I can find a tutorial on that. My backgrounds use something from this website: cidesigns.freepgs.com/GFX/tuts/simmabsftutexps.pngThis tutorial is great for some amazing lighting effects. And it tells you the most important things that you need to make a good sig.

It's kinda tricky. Like most of the time, what new people do is make BG's first then just put the render on, then try to do the effects. I find that to be a very huge mistake. What I do is take a render/pic with good flow. Not just like any render, just flat out poses like this img261.imageshack.us/img261/1679/renderspidergamemr7.pngOn a wallpaper I could maybe use that but on a sig it doesn't have good flow, or anything good to work around. As opposed to something like this: www.thedesignworld.com/images/render/a1/43/render-a1-43-2765.pngor i87.photobucket.com/albums/k147/D4rkShaDoWz/spidey3render.pngGood flow in these two, two render's that you could actually work around. It's okay to pre-determine what you wanna work with. Like in this example, say you wanna do a Spiderman sig, that's okay, but don't just pick up any picture/render to work with, its gotta be a good one. Once you choose your render, then you work around it, y'know what I mean? It's kinda hard to explain, but that's all I got for ya right now, I guess I could make a tut' later but that takes some time, or you could just look around for you. But that's what I got for ya at this time.
