no eh i dont think yukimura can unlock all doors- only one person alive can unlock pinnacle of perfection, and that is nanjiroh. which means yukimura cant. hahah.
and yeah, i agree with marui.

Well but what if he unlocks it in this match. After all since he can beat sanada, who easily defeated two doors of the muga no kyochi so it might make sense that he can unlock the last door. Or it might mean he has some really great techniques. Ahh... man now I'm really hyped to see yukimura's match.

Well but what if he unlocks it in this match. Yukimura is only human after all... Chitose once said, getting to the doors is hard enough, let alone open them. If he really does know how to open 2 doors already (like Tezuka) then I think opening the 3rd door would be, impossible. Because the 3rd door is on a completely different level to the first 2 doors. So basically, the 'power' needed to open both the 1st and 2nd doors is equal to the 'power' needed to open the 3rd door. If it's hard enough to reach/ open the first 2 doors, then opening the 3rd door along with the 1st and 2nd is out of the question. A person (when they're at their limit) can only open either both the 1st and 2nd doors together, or the 3rd door alone. They cannot open all three together. The 3rd door is on a whole different level compared with the 1st and 2nd. So they can open the 1st and 2nd door together, but the 3rd has to be opened alone. And the only person in the world who is known to have unlocked PoP is Nanjiroh, Ryoma's dad. And I don't think Nanjiroh has opened the 1st and 2nd doors. True, Yukimura might be stronger than both Sanada and Tezuka, but that doesn't mean he has to have the 3 doors unlocked in order to be stronger than them, especially to Tezuka, who has opened 2 doors. He might have his own techniques and play style. And if Ryoma does end up unlocking PoP, that means theres no chance for him to open the 1st or 2nd, and that also means he's stronger than Yukimura. After all, the person who has unlocked PoP is Ryoma's dad, not Yukimura's. Yukimura's probably just opened the first two doors, or maybe even one, or none. The only person whom I can think of to open all three doors together is Ryoma Echizen. Not his dad. Not Tezuka. Not Yukimura. Ryoma Echizen. But now that I think of it, didn't Chitose say Tezuka's the closest person to opening the 3rd door after seeing him open the 1st and 2nd door together? IDK, we all know that the 3rd door isn't the 1st and 2nd door combined together... Well whatever the 3rd door is, we'll get a full explanation of it sooner or later. I think the match against Kin (when Ryoma first used it) didn't give us enough information about it. I'm sorry to those who have read it and are even more confused than before.

What is the PoP really? Perfect movement, play style, or power? If the shot Ryoma did was indeed the PoP then he reversed an extreme flat shot, and the reason the ball broke however is only do to one reason. Ryoma hit it with the side of the or perhaps the part where the strings meet the side of the racket. The reason the ball didn't break in the match with Kawamura was because he was the attacker, or the person who hit the ball with power first if Gin countered with a hadokyuu it's possible that the ball would have broken. Remember Kintarou's mountain storm? It was greater than the 108th style hadokyuu, Ryoma probably countered the heavy shot only one way by hitting it with the side of his racket. Thus making the ball crack, yet why did he hit it with the side of the racket. If that was the pinnacle of perfection then it should have been a perfect shot not that of a rookie's.

i think the PoP has to be more than perfect movement etc, because Shiraishi has perfect movement but he obviously didn't have the PoP...idk, just throwing ideas around here

yukimura- what was his operation for anyway, am i the only one who doesnt know or have i missed something? and yeah, he may not be able to open any doors but might have some awesome techniques to counter sanada.

Well this depends whether or not seigaku can win before going to singles one, if they do win then it's probable that Ryoma will lose.

On wikipedia, it says "In the winter prior to the current school year, Yukimura collapsed and was hopitalized. In the hospital he was diagnosed and treated for Guillain-Barré syndrome, neurological disease." If you want to find out more about thie disease, check out wikipedia.

Oh no I didn't mean it like that. In fact I totally forgot if the school lost before going to singles one then singles one isn't played. (Except when it's the first match) I was totally off my rocker sorry about that but this means that Ryoma has to win right?

yeah i guess so, and seigaku will probably win 3-2 instead of 4-1
wait, this thread isnt supposed to be here. it's supposed to be under "other schools" in the characters category. moved.

we're probably gonna see his tennis skills soon (very soon, in fact) and well, i sort of expect him to be stronger than tezuka.

Well now seeing that there's only 12 chapters I doubt we'll be able to see yukimura play, maybe the match might end before singles one.

that might be true bet lets all hope that doesnt happen- i really want to read about yukimura's match, apparently he's even stronger than sanada.
if he isnt gonna play, does that mean echizen may not play as well?

They got to have Yukimura play...even if it is only once and he'll probably lose...I refuse to accept that Konomi would torture us by talking about how good he is and then NOT show us at least one match

In an interview when Konomi was asked who he thought was the best player in the entire story, he answered Yukimura. C'mon Konomi, surprise us!

Exactly. He's said too much about Yukimura for him not to play. It would be so disappointing if he doesn't get to play after all this time. I don't care if it's his first time playing and he's gonna lose. I just wanna actually see him play for once after all the great things we have heard about him.

I want to know what kind of playstyle yukimura has. I think he has lots of beautiful shots and plays like tezuka. He probably has PoP, since he and tezuka where on par in first grade and he improved more than tezuka, who has had too many injuries to improve. We all know echizen's gonna win, but please let echizen admire yukimura like he did with tezuka.
