well i wonder who'd play doubles 2. i think doubles 1 would most probably be oishi&kikumaru right, so...
i think it'd be: doubles 2: inui/kaidoh vs renji/yagyuu. well they have become a somewhat perfect pair for doubles haha, and since momo cant play cos he went to look for echizen.
singles 1: echizen vs yukimura singles 2: fuji...? vs possibly kirihara. fuji could possible pwn kirihara but who knows the anime writer always has some trick up his sleeve.

there is also some spoiler talk about echizen having amnesia. that's be possible i think, if not why would he be late for the nationals o_o
if that happens.. HORIO VS YUKIMURA hahaha. doubt that would happen though

Its going down like this
Doubles 2 is Kaidoh/Inui pair going up against Renji/Kirihara pair! Also, the amnesia rumors are true. I have a feeling that the amnesia is a way for him to master the Pinnacle Of Perfection door thing... just my feeling >.>

yeah apparently they are, chapter 354 came out today.
umm. well could be but. you know kintarou vs ryoma then the last ball... then tezuka and fuji sorta realised it was pinnacle of perfection. correct me if i'm wrong :]
well. the manga could end in a nice light and let us all know that echizen achieved pinnacle of perfection. i'd love to see that.

Really i thought sanada would play in doubles with kirihara. But I still don't get why echizen is playing singles one. It seems like Tezuka is shying away from the spotlight, which I find totally unfair. Remember Ova 13? Throughout the whole anime and manga they made it seem like he would face off against Atobe but then Ryoma just butts in. The same is happening with the whole yukimura thing. It just doesn't seem fair that Ryoma (who "left" the team to play in the Us open) is getting all the big battles.

um i agree that it's unfair for ryoma to get all the big battles however genichirou did feel animosity coz he was unable to defeat tezuka and well, among the three (tezuka, atobe, sanada) all three did want to be stronger than the rest.. i dont know but i think since ryoma did play against sanada before maybe tezuka wanted to play against him or something.

well that's true I remember seeing tezuka in an episode in Germany daydreaming that he had defeated sanada. But still remember at the end of the kantou finals when sanada said they would have yukimura and oishi replied by saying that they would have tezuka. I thought that was a sort of premonition and I nearly confirmed it in episode 178 when yukimura and tezuka talk to each other so I just find it weird that ryoma will play against him.

eh yeah lol he was daydreaming. that part made me laugh, you hardly ever see tezuka so dreamy.
however i think tezuka wants ryoma to take over the "pillar of support" for seigaku thats why he's been playing singles 1.

Still I wonder why they haven't made ryoma fight his real enemy, by that I mean his dad since his father was his real goal.

they'll probably do that soon... maybe after the nationals.
well they've fought each other in a couple of occasions but neither of them took it seriously. however i'd like to see a match where both of them puts in 100% of their effort.
eh haha that;s not for this board. i think i shall create a new thread on this.

Echizen with amnesia... is random XD Maybe its the after effects of the PoP... I'm sure we'll get a scientific explanation about it sooner or later.

Yeah it was sort of random, and for Tezuka yeah it'll be a really interesting match, however we're still not sure about doubles one. I'm guessing it'll be niou and that golf guy since they did beat oishi and kikumaru. But it doesn't seem possible that a net player should be playing fuji, however I still want to see bunta play.

fuji played against Jirou who is also a net player

=D So... Inui says: The probability of Marui playing singles 2 instead of Jackal is... 67.8%. Renji says: ... Inui says: Was what you were going to say, right? I'm guessing it'll be niou and that golf guy since they did beat oishi and kikumaru. But some people might get bored if doubles 1 is Oishi - Kikumaru vs Nioh - Yagyuu again. Therefore, Inui says: But the probability of Marui - Jackal playing doubles 1 instead of Nioh - Yagyuu is... 76.8%. Renji says: ... P.S. Yagyuu does NOT play golf! XD Well, not in the manga.

But Nioh and Yaguu were the only ones to have defeated the golden pair so badly and anyways it's going to be really hard to guess since rikkaidai doesn't have the same amount of players as last time. The whole yukimura thing makes me confused.
