Don't understand "engage a tax exempt building" but many Christian preachers are very successful in acquiring land, buildings, personal jets, etc., all tax exempt. Consider, Falwell, Haggard, James Dobson and many other TV evangelists. Somehow they do not fear the LOrd's admonishment that "it is harder for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of Heaven than a camel pass through the eye of a needle".
