How much does a full set of equipment cost for the beginner in hockey?
I am just embarking on playing ice hockey for the first time. I am planning on playing a position other than goalie and was wondering how much a full set of equipment would cost. It looks like I would need to get a helmet, shoulder pads, shin guards, elbow pads, girdle, gloves, pants, jersey, and stick at a minimum (I already own skates). Is it better for the money to start with used equipment or can I find a set of all new equipment for under 300 dollars?
