I recently went to the Tate Modern gallery and was impressed by the Monet and selection of Picasso. However, the work of Fontata is surely a joke. For those who have not seen it, it really is just a rip in a blank canvas. Do the people who decide on what art is to be included, have any idea beyond the work of the classic artists, that everyone could pick out as being of a high standard? Is the idea for modern artists to try and lower the standard so much, that they prove what a joke modern art is? To highlight how poor those who chose his work, they have included a second piece. This one is pencil holes in a blank canvas. When did art become a joke, rather than talent? ========= Canvas Art
