What year should be the cutoff point when trying to buy a cheap reliable used car?
I'm trying to buy a used car that will last 2-3 years. I only have about 3000. I am a student and would be driving about 100 miles to and from school and work every week. My question is how far back should I go? Is 1995 too far back as far as a used car goes? The reason I ask is because there are some cars for sell in my area that have low mileage, but they are over 10 years old. Any advice on buying used cars would be greatly appreciated.
