I just found and bought a light oak furniture set for the babies room. I was planning on dark cherry, and I had an entire room picked out (brown and aqua). When the price of the light oak set was too good to turn down, I bought that instead. Now my whole room has to change, and I'm panicking. I always get dark furniture, now I have really light furniture with a yellow tone (not my strong suit). What wall colors would make me love this nursery again? hi dear One of the biggest problems that people face when decorating their bedroom is matching furniture to their wall colour. Often the wall will be painted of plastered first and then the furniture will be thought about. When you work with dark wood it is hard to make a happy atmosphere if your wall is also dark. One of the many virtues of light oak bedroom furniture is that it will go with any colour. If you choose deep and dark colours for the wall the furniture will create a contrast of light and dark. Of course if you are going for light colours then the furniture will continue the light theme. funique
