Should I receive through paypal or cheque in the m

I've signed upto an affiliate program, you can either receive your commission through paypal or cheque through the mail.

I've heard paypal charge big fees for withdrawing money from your account, am I better off just receiving a cheque through the mail even though paypal seems more convenient.
