Next to Hyotei my next favorite school all-together is Fudomine. My most favorited is probably Ibu. Man, Fudomine will really be a school to be feared next year since everyone is going to be back since they're all just 2nd years, well all of them except Tachibana but by next year... DAAAMN the thought of it is explosive lol.

So THAT'S Kirah! I was wondering who that 'Kirah' person was... Oh, Kamio. Anyways, Rhythm-kun or Muttering-kun... Rhythm-kun or Muttering-kun... I choose, Ibu! The Non-Stop-Talking King!

I'm definitely with you there. They say that Ibu tennis sense rivals that of Fuji and when you look back Fuji didn't use or reveal any triple-counters or anything until his third year. Ibu could be a monster in his finaly year o.o
I only wish that PoT will go on for another year so we can see how they progress. Dreams are dream...

Kamio will really need to pump up his rhythm to beat Ibu (on the poll)
Ibu and ryoma are hilarious, especially in (and after) episode 22 - Kaoru's Misfortune
i like Ibu btw if my obvious clues are too subtle

Why hasn't anyone chosen Tachibana? he is after all the person that made Fudomine a national level tennis school. His moves are really amazing and I was wondering why they didn't show the match between fuji and tachibana on the OVA. It was pretty good and I was pretty surprised he beat fuji, I think that's what inspired him to upgrade his counters.

'aah I respect Tachibana most definitely. After Shinji he's my next fav. I don't really like Kamio that much.
The match between Fuji and Tachibana. Yeah that is what 'inspired' Fuji to upgrade his counters. He asked Tachibana to go all out on a match against him since Tachibana is a national level player and Fuji wanted to see how he would do against a player of that caliber. Being that Fuji's counters were rather easily defeated that's where the 'evolution' comes in.

True and I thought the match with Tachibana and Chitose should have been a bit longer or at least with tachibana winning.

isnt it quite sad that although tachibana is a national-level player he hasnt shown us his awesomeness yet and always end up losing matches. i dont get it - i thought that he'd be at least as powerful as tezuka or genichirou

True and I thought the match with Tachibana and Chitose should have been a bit longer Yes, I was hoping to see Tachibana's Aura against Chitose' SOSA. Dunno - the red aura around the Fudomine players just look so cool - cooler than the SOSA.

With all due respect the anime has done a poor job on the fudomine cast especially in the case of tachibana.

i feel that other than ibu, kamio and tachi the other members are not very prominent- whenever i think of fudoumine i always think of these three but not the others. somehow they were less-developed than these three i guess.

A 3-row-win by Kamio, Ibu and Tachibana ;D Shitenhouji and Fudomine have a lot of connection don't you think... Like Gin and his lil bro and Chitose and Tachi...

and they both have speed demons on their teams, also, the other members are good (national level) just not 'exceptionally' good like Ibu's tennis sense and Kamio's speed. Or maybe nobody thinks they're that good because they don't have much character development

I vote for Tachibana in this case as well. Cares for everyone, and holds everything together nicely. Although I must say that I like Ibu as well. He is so random haha. But the great Captain gets my vote.

What they shoulda done is make a Fudomine side-arch vs Shitenhouji at least, because they were alike in some aspects like an Ishida confrontation or something, than go more into Tachibana/Chitose type of thing. Plus it gives a chance for more character development since out of all the top schools, the real main schools have some depth on all of their characters except Fudomine. I'm interested in Uchimura and would like to no more about Ishida.
I forgot which it was but I remember reading some manga out there where it when into an arch where it was just about secondary group instead of the main one. They coulda done that in PoT :X

I liked fudomine from the start, but its too bad they made them look weak in the nationals. Tachibana didn't seem that great and gin and kamio didn't quite improve. Ibu shinji was supposed to be great like fuji, but then again lost to easy to kintarou. What well they have next year.
